Office expansion

We have just recently completed a construction project at our office. This project involved building an addition to the office which has increased our space by about 30%. We have added new exam rooms, an expansion and remodeling of the waiting room and complete remodeling of our business office area.

Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy

A promising new development in the surgical treatment of breast cancer is sentinel lymph node biopsy. Currently, a sample of many lymph nodes are removed from the axilla (under the arm) during surgical treatment of breast cancer to determine if the cancer has spread and to help decide how to tailor additional treatment. Sentinel lymph node biopsy hopes to allow the surgeon to only remove a single or few lymph nodes yet still get accurate information about the spread of the tumor. Surgeons in our practice, notable Dr. Smith, are involved in offering this treatment as part of ongoing clinical research projects.
