Our Commitment to Education at Surgical Associates of Columbus, PC
Since the inception of the practice in 1965, Surgical Associates of Columbus, PC has been committed to continueing the education of young doctors in the greater Columbus area. Ensuring our future by providing young doctors with the educational benefits of being in a "real world" environment is something that Surgical Associates prides itself on.

Teaching
Each surgeon in our practice is involved in medical education in one or more of the following:
- We provide surgical instruction for physicians in the Family Practice Residency at The Medical Center
- Our surgeons serve as surgical preceptors for Physician Assistant Students from Emory University
- Our surgeons serve as surgical preceptors for Physician Assistant Students from The Medical College of Georgia
- Surgical residents from Morehouse College rotate with us as part of their general surgery residency training
